The Beaver Area School District is looking for an outstanding Army JROTC Instructor (AI) for the 2018-2019 school year. The JROTC program is a well established and successful program that promotes leadership, student growth, community relations, and academics.

The primary responsibilities include:

  • Supporting an established, successful and award-winning JROTC program which represents more than 10% of the student population.
  • Maintaining a high standard of instruction and competition for the Army JROTC Raiders, Drill, Academic & Markmanship teams, who have consistently ranked in league and brigade levels. 
  • Creating and maintaining a strong working relationship with current staff (SAI) and students in the program. 
  • Maintaining and improving a recruitment process for all facets of the programs. 
  • Continually looking for effective and efficient ways to improve the program. 
  • Managing the Army certification and evaluation processes. 
  • Managing all logistics and administration for both cadets and instructors.  
  • Work with the SAI to establish responsibilities and additional duties as needed. 
  • Creating and maintaining positive working relationships with the faculty, staff, community, and administration.
