PAWS Positive Behavior Program Recognition
Our PAWS Behavior Program was evaluated by a team of Independent State-Wide PAPBS Facilitators.  They interviewed staff and students and reviewed our PAWS materials to assess the fidelity of our framework and the impact on students, staff and the school culture.  We are proud to have earned a 96% and recognition as a PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports) Fidelity Status with Implementation at Tier 1.  We are the first school in Beaver County to earn this acknowledgment!

School-Wide Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports is a proactive approach to discipline that promotes appropriate student behavior and increased learning.  Our PAWS program acknowledges our students for positive and safe choices.  All of our staff and bus drivers teach the appropriate behaviors and procedures and then reward the students by distributing PAWS tickets.

The purpose of the Pennsylvania Positive Behavior Support Network’s recognition system is to identify and publicly recognize schools for successful implementation of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports. In addition, it affords schools and districts the opportunity to accurately self-reflect on their progress implementing and sustaining the program.

We are proud of our students and staff for their continued efforts!
