Important Attendance Information

Regular attendance in school is vital to your child's success.  Please attempt to limit the need for your child to miss school by scheduling appointments before or after the school day.

Parents and students are also reminded to follow the district and building policies regarding early dismissals.  Although we understand the need for emergency dismissals, scheduled dismissals should be reported to the attendance secretary at the beginning of the day.

 Early dismissals due to illness

Students must report illnesses with the school nurse who will contact the parent/ guardian.  Students should not be arranging early dismissals with parents via texting or private phone calls.  All students must be signed out by a parent/ guardian.  It is not acceptable to arrange dismissals to occur with third parties without first informing the attendance office.  This notification must be made with the attendance secretary by the parent/ guardian.
