Starting on Monday, November 16th, 2020 and running through Friday, December 4th, 2020, the Beaver Area School District will be providing instruction virtually. For these virtual days, the District will be following a normal daily schedule with regards to start and end times. This means that, starting on Monday, Dutch Ridge Elementary School will be delivering live instruction from 8:40 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. The specific schedule that your child's homeroom will follow is outlined below.
At the time of each class, students should access the Schoology page for that specific class for further directions regarding the expectations for the day and how to access live instruction. Likewise, students should be logging into a Google Meet to receive live instruction at the time each class is scheduled. If students do not attend their classes at the time they are scheduled each day, they will be marked absent for that class on that day.
For this time that we are virtual, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays will be treated as synchronous school days with live instruction taking place via a Google Meet.
Wednesdays instructional format stays the same:
3 Virtual Learning Blocks (30 minutes)
Office Hours (1 Hour) - If Needed
Asynchronous Learning for MTSS and Specials Areas
Asynchronous Instruction and Assignments for Content Areas
The time of the virtual learning blocks and office hours have been adjusted for the entire building. Here is the schedule all students and staff will follow on Wednesdays:
