Out of respect for our students with food allergies or diabetes, all food items that are sent for the entire class to enjoy must adhere to food restrictions for individual classes (which will be communicated by the school nurse) and must meet the criteria below:
Parent/guardian must give the teacher a 24-hour notice of intention to send in pre-packaged treats
Communicate with the teacher, specifically, what item you will be sending to ensure it meets the criteria and is approved
Ingredient list must be visible
Nutritional guidelines must be visible
ONLY pre-packaged items from a manufacturer… NO bakery items or homemade treats
- When possible, please send a picture of the nutritional and ingredient label, so we can determine if it's safe for our students with allergies or diabetes
