To support and strengthen financial literacy among Western Pennsylvania teens the WPIAL and First National Bank are excited to announce the second annual WPIAL Financial Trivia Challenge, presented by First National Bank.  The first year of the Financial Trivia Challenge saw 78 schools and 1,200 students participate with $6,000 in monetary rewards to students and member schools.

 

The Financial Trivia Challenge is a fun, virtual way for students to test their financial knowledge. Participants first register and then will have 90 seconds to answer as many financial related trivia questions as possible. They can continue to improve their score by participating up to 30 times, while comparing their results with others from across the WPIAL on the leaderboard.

The 2025-2026 CCBC Honors Scholarship application period is now open.

The Honors Scholarship covers in-county tuition and fees, excluding course-related fees and flight fees. This scholarship is awarded after federal and state aid is distributed. All graduating high school seniors who are current Beaver County residents are invited to apply. Applications will be accepted until March 3, 2025. 

Students who are interested in applying will need to complete the attached application, or online application here, which can also be accessed from www.ccbc.edu/honors along with additional information.
