Beaver Area School District School Volunteers

Beaver Area School District has implemented the Raptor Visitor Management System to protect
students, faculty, and staff.  The Raptor Visitor Management System allows us to track visitors,
contractors, and volunteers in our buildings at all times. Upon entering a district building, visitors
will be asked to present a valid state-issued ID. Once entry is approved, Raptor will issue a photo
badge that identifies the visitor, and the date.

Under the Child Protective Services Law (CPSL), any adult applying for an unpaid position as a volunteer for the welfare of a child,
or having direct contact with children, must have clearances. These clearances must be renewed every 60 months.

To ensure the safety of our students and staff, all prospective volunteers must complete the district's volunteer process, and be approved by the Beaver Area Board of School Directors at their monthly meeting prior to beginning a volunteer assignment.  To gain approval as a Volunteer at an upcoming School Board meeting, all clearance documentation is required to be submitted by 10:00 am on the business day preceding the meeting.

Thank you for your willingness to volunteer in our schools.  Your time and dedication to our students and staff is invaluable!
