Students in grades 6-12 have written essays reflecting upon the six fundamentals of Fred Rogers:  self-worth, trust, curiosity, look and listen carefully, play, and solitude.  As the next part of this competition, students whose essays were scored the highest will now present their reflections in a TED Talks-type, public speaking event.

We will host special guests, Gregg Behr and Ryan Rydzewski, the co-authors of our One Book, One Community book study: When You Wonder, You're Learning, which highlights the teachings of Fred Rogers.

Children must be 5 years old before September 1, 2025 and a resident of Beaver.
