Welcome back Bobcats!

Welcome back Bobcats!
Hello Bobcats and welcome back for the 2020-2021 school year. To our new and returning families my name is Andrew Staszewski, or Mr. Staz for the kids and I am the school counselor at College Square Elementary. This will be my second year as the school counselor here at College Square and I am very excited to help our students and families. My role this year will be different than last to accommodate for the safety measures we are putting in place for our students. One service that I would typically provide to all students is classroom lessons, which this year will be delivered virtually. These are lessons that focus on character development to help students thrive socially and emotionally. In addition to these lessons there will be career exploration videos to help expose our students to a variety of career paths at a young age. If any parent or guardian would be interested in creating a video to share about their career please reach out to me. I will be doing my utmost to make these lessons easily accessed and helpful for our students and families. The links to the lessons will appear for each grade in the links to the left of this message in the drop down boxes. Each grade will be receiving different lessons so each student can expect a variety of lessons. Please feel free to browse each grade even if your child is in a different grade level. These will continue to be expanded upon with new lessons added monthly. I will still be providing individual support for students as needed which can be for a variety of reasons. If you feel that your child would benefit please feel free to contact me and we can discuss the situation and see what would be most helpful and appropriate. I will also work with students during the school day who are struggling emotionally or socially to help our students find success. Any time I work with a student you can expect a communication from me letting you know that we spoke. If you have any questions or would like to reach you can contact me at 724-774-0250 ext. 4234 or at [email protected].us
