Safe2Say Something

Safe2Say Something is a youth violence prevention program run by the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General.  The portal is a confidential reporting mechanism to help prevent violence and tragedies.  The purpose is to recognize warning signs and signals, especially within social media, from individuals who may be a threat to themselves or others and to “say something” BEFORE it is too late.  Please know, it is our preference that students and families report information to a trusted adult in the Beaver Area School District in order to gather the details necessary to complete a comprehensive investigation, but school leadership receives alerts for S2S reports.

How It Works:

  • An individual submits an anonymous tip report through the Safe2SaySomething system.  This can be done through the Safe2Say Something app or by calling/texting (844) SAF2SAY (1-844-723-2729).

  • The crisis center reviews, assesses, and processes all submissions.

  • The crisis center sends all submissions to school administration and/or law enforcement for intervention.

  • If needed, the crisis center may contact the tipster anonymously through the app.

District Procedures for COVID Management

Due to an increase in COVID cases in the county and the district, we wanted to take this opportunity to remind parents and guardians that if a student has any mild symptom of illness, regardless of vaccine status, they should remain at home until they receive a negative COVID test result.

Please review the district procedures for Covid and contact the school nurses with questions or concerns or to report a household positive COVID case.
Thank you for helping us keep our schools open.
